Catherine Ince is an independent curator, consultant, and writer based in London. She has more than 25 years of experience working in museums, galleries, and public sector arts organisations in the UK and abroad. Catherine has held senior curatorial and executive director positions in major institutions including the Victoria and Albert Museum and has worked at the Barbican Art Gallery in London, ARoS Aarhus Art Museum in Denmark, and the British Council. 

Catherine is the inaugural Charles & Ray Eames Foundation Research Fellow and is working on new research with the Foundation from 2025–2028. She is currently on the board of trustees of The Cosmic House and Jencks Foundation, and is a former trustee of the Architecture Foundation and the Stanley Picker Gallery and Dorich House Museum in London. Catherine has lectured and taught internationally.
