Chris Hildrey

Chris Hildrey is a London-based architect and founder of Hildrey Studio. He is the creator of ProxyAddress, a social enterprise that provides stable address details to those facing homelessness so that access to vital support can be maintained. His work focuses on social impact and complex problem-solving, spanning buildings, spaces, services, landscapes, installations, and art.
Since founding his studio in 2018, Chris has received multiple awards including TIME Magazine Best Inventions, the D&AD Impact Award for Humanitarian Aid, the RIBA President’s Medal for Research, and the Innovation in Politics Award. His projects have been exhibited internationally and featured in TIME, The New York Times, WIRED, and the BBC. His work is held in the permanent collections of the V&A and the Design Museum.
Previously, Chris held roles at Foster + Partners, Zaha Hadid Architects, and OMA in Rotterdam, and was project architect for the Natural History Museum at Niall McLaughlin Architects.
