David Adjaye

Sir David Adjaye is a Ghanaian British architect known for his broad range of cultural influences and distinctive approach to form. In 2000, David founded Adjaye Associates, which now has offices in Accra, London, and New York. The firm’s diverse international portfolio includes the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO (2010); two neighbourhood libraries in Washington DC (2012); the Sugar Hill mixed-use social housing scheme in Harlem, New York (2015); the Aishti Foundation retail and art complex in Beirut (2015); and the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, DC (2016), his largest project to date.
