Ernesto Picco is an investigative journalist and a professor of Journalism at the National University of Santiago del Estero in Argentina. He is the author of Crónicas del litio (Futurock 2022) and Soñar con las Islas (Prohistoria 2019). His chronicles, published in different media in Latin America and Europe, address environmental issues, human rights, and the endurance of colonial legacies. Ernesto was the winner of the Michael Jacobs Travel Chronicle Scholarship and a finalist of the New Feathers Award. Since 2024, he has been editor-in-chief of Revista Anfibia.
