Lebanese-born Lina Ghotmeh, founder of Lina Ghotmeh — Architecture, is renowned for her sustainable, award-winning, and historically rooted designs. Her approach, “Archaeology of the Future,” connects history, nature, and materials through innovative, eco-conscious architecture.

Notable projects include the redesign of the British Museum’s Western Range galleries; Qatar’s pavilion at La Biennale di Venezia; the Bahrain Pavilion for Expo 2025; the 22nd Serpentine Pavilion in London (2023); Ateliers Hermès in Normandy (2023), France’s first low-carbon, energy-positive industrial building; Stone Garden in Beirut (2020); and the Estonian National Museum in Tartu (2016).

A regular speaker at global conferences, Lina has taught at Yale, the University of Toronto, and Harvard GSD. Her accolades include the 2023 Great Arab Minds Award, the 2020 Schelling Architecture Award, and the 2016 Prix Dejean from the French Academy of Architecture.
