Lucy McRae is an artist and strategic thought partner leading Future Sensitive, a multi-disciplinary, art-research incubator shaped by two decades of global art practice, investigating technology's impact on human evolution.

Lucy consults brands including Chanel, Steve Jobs Archive, and Blade Runner 2099, catalyzing futures through project sprints and narrative prototyping—artist as catalyst of transformation from the inside. Through sculpture, performance, installation, and film, Lucy and Future Sensitive create hopeful, research-led futures that address humanity's pressing challenges.

Lucy's multiplayer mindset to art-led innovation emerged from leading Philips Design's far-future research lab (2006-2010), developing wearable technologies with emotional sensing capabilities and winning a Times Magazine innovation award. Her Swallowable Perfume—a cosmetic pill creating fragrance from inside the body—exemplifies this methodology, combining introspection and breakthrough thinking.

A TED Fellow, World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, and Visiting Professor at SCI_Arc, Lucy is trusted by global leaders to navigate the intersection of technology and humanity with imagination and strategy.

We need young creators and visionaries to actively shape what comes next rather than inherit what is. Supporting The World Around as a mentor means we're investing in futures that genuinely transform. That's not just hope: that's active optimism backed by creative action.
