Maye Tamma is a creative director, designer, and advisor engaging architecture and the systems that shape it. Trained as an architect, she began her career with interactive architectural installations exploring the dynamics of agency and responsive space. Her path expanded into humanitarian and development work with the United Nations, the World Bank, and other organizations, where she explored the socio-political logics embedded in the built environment. These experiences converge in Rē, the New York–based speculative design practice she leads. Through conceptual frameworks, spatial propositions, and narrative worldbuilding, Rē surfaces alternative realities to reimagine how we might live differently, together and with the more-than-human world. Born in Syria, Maye holds a master’s degree in Architecture and International Development.
