Natsai Audrey Chieza is a designer and thought leader working at the intersection of design, biotechnology, and culture. She is founder and CEO of Faber Futures, a creative R&D studio translating biotechnological advances into real-world applications, and co-founder of Normal Phenomena of Life (NPOL), a consumer brand bringing biotech-enabled products to market. Her work fosters cross-sector partnerships to shape regenerative approaches to innovation. Collaborators include Ginkgo Bioworks, Adidas, the Design Museum, and the World Economic Forum (WEF). A sought-after speaker, she has presented at TED, SxSW, and Design Indaba. In recognition of her contributions, she received the 2024 London Design Innovation Medal and the 2019 INDEX Award. Natsai has served on Fondation USM’s Future Lab advisory panel and was a member of the WEF’s Global Futures Council on Synthetic Biology, where she advocated for integrating culture and policy to build equitable bioeconomies.
