Sebastian Acampante studied curatorial practice and cultural management, dedicating his career to exploring how ancestral wisdom meets contemporary creation. For over two decades, he co-founded and shaped TRImarchi, a gathering that transformed design conversations throughout Latin America. As curator for the London Design Biennale, UNESCO, the British Council, Centro Cultural Recoleta, and Centro Cultural España, he has worked to reveal the pre-Columbian visual legacy as a breathing force for creativity and collective well-being. Since working with The World Around, his connection with the Aymara people has grown deeper, guiding him to share and amplify their essential message. Now based in Mexico as curator of the Bienal de Ilustración, he moves through disciplines with a nomadic, experimental spirit. For Sebastian, art and design are not just practices but vital rituals; living drawings that help us reimagine our relationship to the world and to each other.

My curatorial path has long centered on the legacy of pre-Columbian cultures. Since joining The World Around, that commitment has found its loudest, most urgent echo.
