Stephanie Bigelow

Stephanie Bigelow is a multidisciplinary designer working at the intersection of architecture, interiors, and cultural research. With experience spanning hospitality, residential, exhibition design, and urbanism, she brings a nuanced, narrative-driven approach to the built environment. Currently at Rockwell Group, she leads high-end hospitality projects with a focus on spatial storytelling, material curiosity, and conceptual clarity. Her previous work includes contributions at OMA, BIG, and others, as well as participation in the 17th Venice Architecture Biennale. Stephanie holds a Master of Architecture from Columbia University’s GSAPP and a certificate from its NY/Paris urban design program. Her practice is shaped by global design discourse and a commitment to environments that bridge emotional resonance with built form. Across scales and typologies, she explores how design can shape more intentional, connected, and human-centered spaces.
“The World Around creates a vital platform for ideas that challenge, expand, and reimagine how we shape space. It reminds me that design is not just about form or function, but about responsibility, imagination, and cultural memory. What gives me hope is the growing awareness that our environments are inseparable from being agents for repair, resilience, and connection.”
