Sunena Maju

Sunena Maju is an architect, writer, researcher, and curator whose work bridges architecture, design, and contemporary art. Her practice explores design histories, radical architectural practices, and cultural narratives through a decolonial lens, with a focus on how design mediates memory, power, and public space. Her experience spans from working with the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum to her current roles at the Architecture & Design Film Festival (ADFF) and STIRworld. Sunena holds an MA in History of Design and Curatorial Studies from Parsons School of Design.
