Yousef Anastas is an architect and partner at AAU Anastas, an art, architecture, and design studio based in Bethlehem and Paris, which he founded with his brother, Elias Anastas. The duo also co-founded Local Industries, Radio Alhara, the Wonder Cabinet, and Stone Matters. Anastas’s practice navigates the intersection of architecture, craft, and sound, and he is currently pursuing a PhD on structural stone and stereotomy. He teaches alongside his brother at Columbia Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (GSAPP).
