Alberto Veiga is the founder and director of Barozzi Veiga, an internationally renowned architecture firm, founded in Barcelona in 2004. His works on both public and private commissions, with a focus on cultural buildings, have been widely awarded, exhibited and published in the specialist press. Among others, Barozzi Veiga’s built work includes the Szczecin Philharmonic Hall (2014), the Bündner Kunstmuseum Chur (2016), the Musée cantonal des Beaux-Arts Lausanne (2019), the Tanzhaus Zürich (2019), and the Abby Kortrijk (2025).

In parallel to his professional activity, Alberto regularly lectures about his design approach worldwide. Over the years, he was invited to present his at prestigious institutions worldwide, including the MIT Department of Architecture, Cornell University, Yale School of Architecture, IIT Chicago, the Royal Academy of Arts in London, the Berlage Institute, ETH Zürich, and IUAV Venezia, among many others universities and institutions.
