Andrés Jaque is founder of the Office for Political Innovation (OFFPOLINN), an international architectural practice based in New York and Madrid. Established in 2003, the office works at the intersection of design, research, and critical environmental practices. Its projects transition across scales and media, aiming to bring inclusivity to the built environment. The practice’s recent projects include the Reggio School in Madrid (2022), the Ocean Space for the Thyssen-Bornemisza Contemporary Art Collection (TBA21) in Venice (first phase opened in 2019), and the Babyn Yar Museum of Memory and Oblivion in Kyiv (set to open in 2025).

Andrés is a professor and the dean of Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation (GSAPP). He has also been director of the Advanced Architectural Design Program at GSAPP, and visiting professor at Princeton University and The Cooper Union. He has published extensively and curated numerous international exhibitions.
