Anna Tsing is a professor of anthropology at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a Niels Bohr professor in the Department of Culture and Society at Aarhus University in Denmark, where she directs the AURA project for transdisciplinary research into the Anthropocene. She is the author of In the Realm of the Diamond Queen (Princeton University Press, 1993), Friction (Princeton University Press, 2005), and The Mushroom at the End of the World (Princeton University Press, 2015). Anna is the co-editor of the digital publication Feral Atlas: The More-than-Human Anthropocene (Stanford University Press, 2021). She was awarded the Huxley Memorial Medal of the Royal Anthropological Institute in 2018.
