Kieran Long is the director of Amos Rex, a private art museum in Helsinki, Finland. He has been a curator, writer, museum director, and teacher in the fields of art, architecture, and design for more than 25 years. In 2012, Long curated the Venice Architecture Biennale under artistic director David Chipperfield, after which he was appointed Keeper of the Department of Design, Architecture and Digital at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, leading transformational initiatives in collecting and exhibition-making across the museum’s programs. From 2017, Long served as the director of ArkDes, the national museum of architecture and design in Stockholm, Sweden, and was commissioner of the Nordic Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2023. He joined Amos Rex in 2024.
