Field Operations partner Lisa Switkin is behind some of America’s most iconic and influential contemporary landscape projects. The High Line, Domino Park and Gansevoort Peninsula in New York; Tongva Park in Santa Monica; master plans for Shelby Farms Park in Memphis, The Underline in Miami, Waterfront Seattle, Cleveland's North Coast Master Plan; and more have all have benefitted from Switkin’s involvement.  Over the past two decades, Switkin has led teams on these multi-disciplinary projects, mobilising urban design to nurture environmental resilience, social cohesion, and connection to place as part of a career-long campaign to prioritize civic life in the design of equitable public spaces.

At The World Around Summit she discussed how, throughout her career, she has championed design and planning projects that creatively contend with complex issues related to social equity, climate change, and sustainable urbanism.
