Andrea Lissoni is the curator and director of Haus der Kunst in Munich. Apichatpong Weerasethakul is a Thai filmmaker and artist working between cinema and contemporary art. Originally trained as an architect, he creates films, videos, and installations that are often non-linear, evoking a profound sense of dislocation and otherworldliness. Weerasethakul’s work is celebrated internationally for its poetic imagery, experimental storytelling, and its ability to blur boundaries between reality, memory, and imagination.
