About In Focus: Landscapes

The World Around and our Global Cultural Partner, Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain, convened an incredible line-up of speakers from across Asia and beyond to ask critical questions about how architecture and landscape design can enact real change, and how to move conversations forward: out from institutions and into the world. In Focus: Landscapes took place at the Power Station of Art in Shanghai, where Andra Matin, Petra Blaisse, Kunlé Adeyemi, Cho Minsuk, and more took to the stage to present their innovative approaches to landscapes across the globe.

The In Focus series allows The World Around to travel and partner with global institutions and delve into specific topics to gain a deeper understanding of how they shape—or can be shaped by—the work of architects and designers.
